I don't take anything you write personally, I just want you to read what is actually written without imputing your own luggage. I didn't think it was funny. so it didn't rise to my standard of humor. If you think that was funny, that's on you.

Just read what I write. I'm straightforward. You should be too.

We have belabored this meager contention beyond what is reasonable. But, I do so enjoy our interaction, so here is one more turn:

It is common knowledge in the town that Farmhand finds that tending pigs is a rewarding activity. Each pig has their own personality. He feels a deep bond with them.  He feels protective of them in the night. The wolves would make short work of them. He cuddles in with them in their sty to share warmth.  He once said "If they were human perhaps I would be dating them".

Reverend Jim:  Farmhand, you could do a better job; you might be getting into something quite inappropriate.

Thump:  A farmhand does a great job of tending pigs so long as they feed them well and give them vet care.

Reverend Jim:  Are you suggesting that intimate actions with pigs is entirely fine?

Thump:  How dare you ask such a question? Can't you read?  Does feeding and medical attention say anything about intimacy?

I’ve never thought of Trump as suicidal.  I guess he could be as I truly believe he’s mentally ill or has early dementia.  His personality seems to contradict him being suicidal but that’s not really a marker for someone contemplating suicide. 

He has my permission to do it, though…just don’t take anyone else with him.  (Well, actually, I can think of a few others…)

Actually, some one with a Narcississtic Personality that is collapsing can be at risk for suicide - maybe as an act of perceived martyrdom.

Most of these cabinet appointments etc seem like a troll. This is very surreal. Downsizing government can be done callously or carefully. Placing incompetent people in charge seems like sabotage. Is Trump simply trying to make sure people smarter than him have no ability to call him on anything?

Personally, I think he’s on a revenge crusade. Hes appointing people that he knows will piss off large blocks of people…mainly Democrats. Hes aiming for chaos from my view.

Agree.  As a matter of fact, I’d say that’s the first requirement.  In his previous presidency, he appointed some people that were actually qualified for the job and proceeded to have problems with them telling him no, you can’t do that…and he usually fired them.  This time, he’s wasting no time on qualifications and purposely selecting sycophants loyal to him first and qualifications be damned….and who will immediately implement his agenda.

A lot of this is also just to dispirit the opposition and to "own" them. It's a classic dominance move by someone who has said before, "I AM the chaos."

I don't think so. They'll try to push for other nominees behind closed doors, but they will not challenge any of the nominations in any serious way. It's not like the Republican Party and Donald Trump have anything else than sycophants, idiots and maniacs to with either. The more or less "reasonable" Republican appointee do not want to work for a boss like Trump or have already been burnt by him. I would expect them to regularly get fired and for Trump to have them compete against one another and give them overlapping duties and tasks.

I think it matters much to us that Gaetz isn't in charge of DoJ or Gabbard isn't DNI. I don't give a shit about trolling Trump. We are fighting a rearguard action and have to focus on the key points.

Perhaps. No one likes a turncoat ... but let's face it, "she was a Democrat and then came over to us" is a talking-point they won't pass up. They may not trust her, but they will most certainly use her.

I thought Trump might win simply because the GOP appear far more "anti woke culture" than the Democrats. The British conservatives have appointed an openly "anti woke" leader last month, Kemi Badenoch, likely for that very reason.

Amazingly, it's possible for white people to recognize a level of privilege and have empathy for those on the downside of an uneven playing field.  Unfortunately some do get mired by hyperbole, get defensive, and let bald self interest reign.

Do you think referring to letting children identify as pets is helpful? Its a reference to a deceptive meme that many whites take as factual.  They believe teachers routinely provide kitty litter for student use. Of course this never happened.  Belittling people, by mentioning this analogy, for unusual cross gender  sensibilities is unfair and mean.  People who are suseptible to blatant manipulation are to blame for the election of subpar leaders.
