I guess we are not the intended audience. A lot of advertising is randomly displayed.
Advertising is always annoying to me. I prefer some depth of meaning.

This is more an argument for safer pigments than it is a condemnation of tattoos.
Unless you can legally ban stupidity, ranting about various shit you personally find stupid rather pointless. Even if you could ban stupidity, who would be the arbiter of what is stupid and what isn't. And, how are you gonna feel when something you like is deemed stupid by that arbiter.
Tattoos are much like abortions. It's a personal decision that has no direct bearing on you. If you don't like them, feel free to not get one!

Nope. Irrational comparison altogether.
It's not a matter of me getting a tattoo or choosing
not to. The fact of the matter is that everywhere I go these
days, I'm unavoidably confronted with the observation of
often poorly executed, overcooked or plain ugly tattoos.

Tattoos... Love 'em or hate 'em?
Id love to not see a cross necklace. I’d love to not see churches everywhere. I’d especially love to not see a Trump sign in my neighborhood. I’d like to never see green or purple hair again.
Sometimes, we just have to ignore what we don’t like. It’s how we learn to live with our neighbors.

As long as they're well made I deem tattoos to be enhancing beauty. Hot women with tattoos become even hotter.

I too wouldn't want to see many things. Why however should my aesthetic preferences matter to anyone but me?

lol, I had a neighbor, Brandy was her name, who was pretty hot -- curvy, you know -- until one day I saw her wearing a short tank-top, from behind (which wasn't a bad view). But her tank-top was short and I could read her tramp-stamp -- "Every man's dream".
That was the single most unattractive tattoo I've ever seen on a woman, and turned her undesirable in about two seconds.

I would probably chuckled when seeing this. There however are tattoos that would turn me off instantly but I'm not sure about above mentioned situation. Still in general I like tattoos on people as it simply looks nice.

I'm not against ink -- I deal with people how they deal with me rather than superficial appearances. That one was entirely unattractive not because she had ink on her back, but rather what it said about her attitude.
Tattoos are like any other art -- they can be pretty or ugly, thoughtful or stupid, and so on.
I've considered getting one over the years, so long as I design it myself, but I just don't care about it that much. But "Every man's dream" told me she was full of shit and herself. Instant turn-off.

Personally, I don't want to have them. My wife does, they are good artwork. It is her choice. The closest to a tatoo I've had is the few scars of times of my youth ya know, drugs, booze et al. I thought they would go away, they do not. Skin regenerates, but there is always something new about scar tissue.

I like some arrogance in women so such tattoo wouldn't be of putting for me. Though in general I'm not a fan of sentences as tattoos.

I thought about mine for some years but only did it when I started working in Poland and had tattoo studio nearby. Additionally I worked with a dude who got his done there so I knew that people working in said studio were technically proficient.

Well, I guess at base level, a lot of my opinions and/or
response are simply an attempt to inject a bit more
spirited debate and life into this increasingly predictable,
somewhat dull forum.
The fact that you choose to say that this inoffensive little
thread of mine is a waste of your time and the site's
resources(?) really exemplifies this.
If it's so offended your sensibilities, why then have you
chosen to respond three times? Even I've only posted
four responses.

Years ago, I think in one of Bill Maher's comedy specials he was talking about 'Tramp Stamps.' Essentially, while holding his hands out right in front of him, he said "Girls, if your ass is right there, we don't need a sunset!"

Tattoos... Love 'em or hate 'em?
I have a tattoo, just the one, which is on my calf. I have it because my father has the same one in the same location, so it "means something" to both of us. He'd had it for years as a "random" tattoo he had as a teen, and I always liked it growing up so in my 20's I got the same one.
My wife has several little ones dotted about which are cool and stuff.
In general: I like them, I do prefer if they have "meaning" but at the end of the day just do whatever. I think heavily tattooed women look great, but it also depends on what it is/where as I'm not a huge fan of tattoos on peoples faces.
