Some art stuff from my summer course
Earlier this summer I took a drawing course as one of my university electives. This is what I came up with (mild NSFW for the second and third pictures):
Still life from my kitchen:
A riff on Arthur C. Clarke's "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Based on a collage that I made.
And a fever-dream inspired by Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory." That clock isn't melted... but in about one minute it will be.

Cool.
I can't draw a straight line so I'm impressed.

I like, you've got talent.
Please explain why the colander has eyes and it's straining a lizard. Is that a pastafarian thing?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

That's our actual colander - got it from here: https://ototodesign.com/products/spaghet...r-strainer - and it's obviously inspired by the FSM (Ramen!).
The lizard is one of two beanbag toys that hang out on our coffee mug shelf - Sal and Pippa, the Kitchen Skinks. I think that's Pippa. Or maybe Sal. Never could tell the two of them apart...
We have weird stuff in our kitchen.

The natural consequences of playing video games late at night, then lying awake worrying about my Chemistry exam!
