What's your Halloween triple feature movies?
"The Last Man on Earth", starring Vincent Price.*

"The Call of Cthulhu", by H. P. Lovecraft. (Silent with caption cards.)

"Something Wicked This Way Comes", written by Ray Bradbury.

*Vincent is the last human on a planet full of zombies. At one point he visits his wife's crypt and falls asleep. He wakes up after dark and has to run a gauntlet of zombies to get out of the cemetery. I had to get home by walking through a cemetery. It was dark when the movie ended.

The remake of that Vincent Price film is The Omega Man starring Charleton Heston and Anthony Zerbe.

Nothing similar except the idea that the shit had well and truly hit the fan.

"The Thing From Another World" will always be my favorite version of that story. James Arness as a giant carrot.

That's pretty strong right there.  I think I would take out Jaws (though it is one of the greatest movies of all time without reference to genre and was hella scary).  Not sure what to replace it with in my list.  Sleepy Hollow maybe?  Or Charlie Brown Peanuts Halloween (seriously)

I haven't seen Sleepy Hollow (this one?), I'll try to find/watch it.

some suggestions:
  • The Mist (2007)
  • Color Out of Space (2019)
  • Frailty (2002)
  • Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
  • Nosferatu (1922)

Yeah maybe Nosferatu or one of the old Universal Monsters movies, just as a nod to the classics.

Yes the Johnny Depp Sleepy Hollow.  Hope you like it, it's fun and gory and a little silly.

The black and white version?  I liked the Day of the Dead better.
