Hello, it's me, and this is my obligatory Intro
I came here to respond to a misrepresentation of something I said elsewhere. But for those who want to know about me, my website has a summary.
Link removed. We don't allow self advertising (or any kind of advertising) except by special permission, which may be granted after the forum members have gotten to know you. You are welcome to post your positions/clarifications here, please don't start to copy/paste large amounts of text though, we don't permit that either. Using your own current narrative and the occasional quote is fine.

Firstly, g'day mate, and welcome to the forum. 
I had a read through your blog, and appreciate your expertise and the amount of papers
you've published. I've only had minimal education at tertiary level (engineering diploma
RMIT Victoria 1964) so I'm not competent in order to debate you meaningfully with regard
to ancient history and/or the intricacies of religious dogma old or new.
What I do know however—as a fact—is that there is no empirical evidence supporting the
notion that supernatural entities or paranormal phenomena can exist in the real world. In
two millennia there's been not one iota of proof, other than ancient third-party hearsay
from ill-educated scribes who thought the earth was flat—and in numerous cases well after
the period of the claimed event(s).
—I'm actually ignostic, and a lifelong skeptic, but call myself an atheist for convenience. And
your appeal to authority (yours) would hold little weight with me in debates about religion
(on this forum at least).
I'm a creationist; I believe that man created God.
