I like breakfast burritos with lots of cheese and chirizo. Not a great way to start your day but yummy.

I used to have an eggnog recipe that called for a dozen eggs, two cups of heavy cream and a cup of liquor. (We usually cut the recipe in half, with a mere half-dozen eggs in it.) Scary to drink -- once the cream was whipped and the other ingredients folded in, it had a weird buttery mouth feel to it.

The trick to getting the right consistency is not to whip the cream, but whip the egg whites and fold those in last.
