So here in upstate NY at least, the new bivalent Covid vaccine is supposed to be delivered to pharmacies on the 8th for administration beginning on the 9th. I have arranged a jab for the 12th. Sticking with Pfizer because I had less symptoms with Pfizer booster than Moderna -- but of course, this is a different vaccine, too. Supposed to take care of Omicron and the latest active strains in the US. Hopefully (and this is just my hope, I have no actual idea) it will be more protective against BA 2.75 when it dominates here, sometime this winter.

After a week or so we'll get the flu vaccine as the flu is said to be pretty bad this season all by itself. Then since the NYS dept of health is wanting everyone to get a polio booster I will look into that.

I always get both vaccines together when I can - Covid and the flu. Never had issues so far.

Just trying to go easy on my aging immune system, but you're probably right. Eventually they hope to put the Covid and flu vaccines together in one shot anyway.
