Except for the elderly and other compromised people. Those can die from the virus despite being vaccinated, albeit the numbers are reduced.

And so those people should take extra precautions. Even vaccinated people can spread the virus.

How would you feel if you were not vaccinated and killed your grandmother?

I don't know - I'm vaccinated. you seem to think I'm anti-vax. I'm not. I'm pro-vax, as I've said. I'm also pro-freedom, and pro-following the science. 

Thankfully Omichron is not  as deadly as Delta. Then again, that makes people figure they are safe, paving the way for the next mutation to thrive among the ones who take no protective measures. The next variant may not be so kind.

The next variant may be thwarted due to immunity provided by Omicron. We don't know.

Science and plain observation had taught us that all immunity wears off. The safer we feel, the less protective measures we take, the more likely it becomes that hundreds of thousands of more people will die.
