Unbelievable. Here, tests are controlled and issued by the health department. Only trusted partners are allowed to offer testing. Apart from the test kits you can buy at supermarkets and pharmacists, which again are licensed by the health department.
The scammers aren't necessarily using legitimate test-kits, they're counting on Americans saying, "Oh, there's a needle involved, it must be okay." All they have to do is a few keystrokes on a laptop to make it look right for people.
