Let's hope her online transition will turn out to be satisfying in the longer term.

The transition online seems to be working so far, since her customers were looking for alternatives during the pandemic anyway. She's learning certain marketing skills to promote her classes.

I should have said that she stopped traveling when the pandemic started, and had already begun transitioning her classes online before she got sick with covid. But she had hoped to start traveling again when the pandemic was over. Now that likely won't happen, but she already has an alternative.

Since she's older than me, she could have retired already.  But since she is self-employed, built up her own little company, and loves to work, she will likely continue for as long as she can -- and as much as she can, now that she's slowed down considerably.  At least that should keep her spirits up.
