I saw a story on CBS Mornings this morning about a man in Oregon who was in the hospital with covid for 299 days. Now that he's finally out, he is completely dependent on receiving oxygen, so he can't work. Walking a few steps and even standing are considered exercises for him. He also need his lungs replaced.
"Luckily" the hospital will voluntarily cover the costs his insurance won't.
