Well, no. There's absolutely no recorded evidence that a man allegedly called "Jesus" ever
existed, as depicted, in the real world, and definitely no evidence that this imaginary person
"healed" anybody of leprosy. It wasn't until 1937 that the first effective leprosy treatment,
Promin, (sodium glucosulfone) became available.
Apparently your friend is somehow assuming that Jesus will suddenly pop up in the 21st century
and physically "touch" him to protect him from COVID. And why does he think a cure, any cure,
for leprosy will work for COVID—considering the virus simply didn't exist 2,000 years ago, and
they're each unique anyway. One is a virus, and one is a bacterium.
