Current statistics are showing very high percentages of unvaccinated people in the now-overflowing ICUs. If you are fully vaccinated, your chances of having an extremely bad case of COVID are very small. If you're diligent about wearing a mask, you'll probably incur a lower viral load, giving your body more time to mobilize your immune system to attack the virus.
We're fast approaching the point where there simply won't be enough hospital resources to go around, and the more egregious violators of masks, vaccines and social distancing can look forward to the horror of not being able to get any medical care as they gasp for breath and keel over dead. They've essentially shat in their own food and will shortly be wondering why it tastes like shit.
