Combined with the fact that 2-jab vaccination a few months back does not seem to protect well vs Delta, bang, here you have a buncha vaccinated people catching COVID.
Death rates however arent soaring, as was communicated as well by Biontech for example ("You may only be 60% protected against Delta, instead of 95%, but vaccination still avoids heavy illness or death by 95%").
Yes, its bad (UK infection numbers as well as reproduction rate is insane, as well as Spain, USA and Israel), but earlier this year is was worse.
