Coronavirus spreads. But don't panic! (topical thread)

According to World-O-Meter the US passed 600,000 Coronavirus deaths yesterday (Sunday, May 16). At this writing the count stands at 600,533.

To put that number in perspective, it took just over two months to go from 300,000 dead to 500,000. It's taken just under 3 months to get another 100,000. Things are getting better. Maybe not as fast as we wanted or hoped, but better none the less.
