Another thing either Prizer or Moderna (I forget which) was suggesting recently is that eventually the mRNA technology used for these vaccines can improve the effectiveness of flu shots considerably and perhaps they can combine flu and Covid shots into one. "Eventually" in this case would be at least a couple of years, as the flu doesn't represent the all-hands-on-deck emergency that Covid does, and it won't get fast-tracked approval and will go through the usual procedures.
