Yeah, it's not the Republicans this time. It's going to get passed, no question, it's just not the priority for the NEW administration all of a sudden.
I know it's going to be hard to get out of the habit of blaming absolutely everything on the Republicans, because they are truly terrible, but this time, nope.
It was Biden and Kamala that backed off from 2k to 1400, no input from the R's needed. And now, same with the relief bill. They promised this, used the words "promise" and "immediate" during the Georgia special elections. What they did immediately was back off from both of those promises as soon as they won Georgia.
Two words: Budget Reconciliation. Two more words: No excuse.
