Why are there so many cases now? Actually in spring there were very few cases, so probably people thought its all but "a hoax"  

No, in spring we went into complete lockdowns all over Europe in a matter of weeks. Italy was a severe warning for other countries to react. Borders were closed and air traffic reduced to an absolute minimum.

Now the governments have/had their pants full and reacted much too late to the rising numbers. It's not the people acting differently, it's the governments allowing them to socialise for much too long. I wouldn't put too much stock into 400 idiots demonstrating in a country of 80 million.

I was talking about this specific village. In spring it had extremely low infection rates. Now its #1.
