In the two hours since my earlier post we've gotten to 56,517. I wish that World-o-meter allowed you to go back further than the two days it allows you to, to make comparisons. But my informal recollection is that weekend numbers tend to run about half of weekday numbers. Like Tony, I tend to note them only in passing, as Sunday in particular tends to reflect that people aren't compiling and vetting these numbers on the weekends. If these are only partial numbers and yet Saturday was basically level with Friday and Sunday's not far behind, then there's a heck of a spike in progress.
