Trucking industry rags that I scan incidental to my work say this is a complete blow-out record-making quarter as people shift from buying experiences and services to buying hard goods to improve their shelter-in-place experience. This in turn has created a shortage of drivers and rolling stock and pushed up the percentage of refused loads. I suppose this could be contributing to such issues. There are some other transportation verticals, like air cargo, that are strained as well.
