Mr Husband asked me what I was laughing at.  I showed him your picture.  He pointed to the Creamed Possum With Sweet Potatoes Garnished in Coon Fat Gravy and said he has had that!  Called it "sos".....shit on shingles.   He said he was visiting a Black family in South Carolina and they served the Possum in a can stuff but being polite he ate what was given to him without complaint.  Heroism comes in many forms.
