So here in Arizona the surge in covid19 cases became clear around June 1. That was two weeks after our idiot governor revoked his earlier lockdown order because Fuckface was pissed.
On June 1 the state had 13,516 active cases and had recorded 11 deaths.
Today we are reporting 121,351 active cases and the death count for today alone was 147. The total death count is 2,730.
The local news has been running stories of survivors who spent weeks in ICU and the issues they are running into upon release. They also run stories on the people who don't survive the ICU. The odds seem to be about 50-50 but "survival" comes with few guarantees of normalcy.
