I was at Fred Meyers (It's a one stop shopping supermarket/department store) and back to school supplies were out but it wasn't overloaded with school items. I don't think anyone knows what's going to happen in September when school opens.
Teachers are getting very nervous about the situation. Maybe we should send a human canary into the school cave and see if that person comes back out alive. I nominate Betsy De Vos, she has a yellow streak running down her back. I think she'd be perfect for the job.
Even if schools don't convene in person, students will still need supplies for remote learning / home school. I don't see anything nefarious in back to school sales.
