He is encouraging his base to think the Covid pandemic is solved by his actions to find a preventative (proving it on himself after known exposure to an infected "loser" on the staff. If HE takes a pill, his base can take a pill. And those who take the pill and don't die (as 99% won't) will credit him with solving the "problem". And THEY will decide that, since he beat the Covid virus, he can solve any problem. Therefore, they re-elect him...
I pick #3 and #9. Idiot threw a hissyfit, his doctor rolled his eyes and gave him a Tic-Tack.
