I'm willing to bet he is indeed lying. This is him trying to drum up support for the I'm Doing Something!® optics.

I bet he isn't shopping for his own groceries, either. @Rainy_D wants to think "we're all in this together", but let's face it, some animals are more equal than others.

I personally think we should mass-mail 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with quarts of Clorox and dare him to put his mouth where his words are.

Just a distraction. I just heard that there was an el Quaida attack on us under his watch. I didn't catch the details, and the news services are too busy with the drugs to report it at present.
