Just exchanged a few text messages with a co-worker under curfew in Bavaria (he is originally from eastern Germany).
Me:"Hows life with these newly granted freedoms in Bavaria now? Almost like 1990, isnt it?" (Bavaria also eased down on the lockdown now)
Him: "Well to be honest, with the restaurants still closed and nowhere to go on vacation, its basically more like 1989"
