For those of you not familiar with Canadian politics, Doug Ford is the Premier of Ontario. He's a right-wing Conservative who has widely been viewed as "Canada's Trump" and having been dropped on his head a few too many times. That said, he's been doing a reasonably effective job during the COVID-19 crisis, listening to the experts, keeping out of their way, and providing leadership where necessary. Like almost all of the government, federal and provincial, Ford has managed to put partisan bickering aside to get vital work done.
"Better than Doug Ford" is a pretty low bar to get over but Trump can't even manage that.
