I gave you examples of infectious diseases - flu, pneumonia. Hell we didn't ban prostitution when the global HIV outbreak happened (AND we prevented it becoming an epidemic in Australia).
Is prostitution contagious? No. So why mention it? Another red herring.
As for the other two examples, both diseases are known qualities, unlike Covid. We don't know how long any potential immunity might last with Covid. We don't really know if there's any immunity after infection. The reader can catch this fairly recent news.
I really don't think the comparisons fly.
