What "swipe"? Yanks are obsessed with the health of public figures - celebrities AND politicians. For goodness sake to show you how extreme it is in the US, their presidential candidates usually have a medical and make that record public. That's not just bizarre, it's disturbing. Judging people for their health...

Also "believing a positive report from a nurse"?!?!? WHAT? Are you saying she was dishonest in any way? She was a professional, I'm sure she would have been just as proud to treat Adolf Hitler, it has no baring on her patient's morality or personality or position of power.
