Here's the dirty secret: insurance companies are having to pay for businesses shut down due to emergency, but they won't if the businesses are simply failing due to a lack of customers. The reason they want stuff open is to shift the burden from big businesses to small ones. And don't forget all the extra people that have to die for this.
I had never thought of that, businesses can get shutdown insurance? I know you can get insurance for, say, hurricane damage to fix your restaurant's roof or spoiled food or whatever but you can get your actual profits covered? Do they pay a pre-agreed lump sum like life insurance or something like an average of usual income?
