Maybe it's a superficial analysis, but if the number of new cases is an order of magnitude more than the number of recoveries and deaths combined then things aren't getting better quite yet.
The good news is, despite all his bluster the moron-in-chief doesn't get to decide. It's down to the state and local governments. Some areas are more ready than others.
The states with big cities and big economies aren't ready and probably won't be for a while. States like Wyoming and North Dakota, yeah sure, they're ready to get back to normal these are not very populated states and frankly don't add a huge amount to the US economy. But Idiot-in-chief wants the big muscle states to come back and that ain't happening any time soon and I'm betting that many of the large corporations don't want their brand tarnished by a Covid 19 outbreak. It wouldn't look too good if Disneyland became a hotspot for the coronavirus. And I bet a lot of the workforce wants their co-workers tested to make sure it's safe to return to work.
