So, is this flattening the curve?  Terrible numbers, 1800 dead in 24 hours, but I get that as a percentage, it's not growing.  Still horrible.

I read that the likely "best case" scenario at this point still leaves around 82,000 dead in the U.S.  That's with a peak in mid-April, bending the curve, and distancing until at least the end of May.

For most of us, the problems we face will be from collateral damages.

yes that is the downside of surviving it.
