As expected with better testing, US cases almost double in 24 hours, from roughly 7k to roughly 13k.

The CDC recommends hospital workers without access to PPE gear like masks make them out of scarves, bandanas, and handkerchiefs.  I'm completely serious.

The cracks in our healthcare system are already showing pretty broadly, and this isn't even bad yet.  I'm not looking forward to what the news will look like in 2 or 4 weeks.

If it isn't contained, I did some calculations for 30 million infected in 3 weeks.

I also think China is holding back a shitload of information, and it's far worse there than they are reporting.

Agreed, they absolutely are.  Kicking out reporters.  Any news coming out is very controlled.  I think they do have it under control, but I think they are hiding how bad it actually got at it's worst.
