To anyone who thought (or still think) this isn't serious, I hope you are starting to grasp how very serious this is.
For the naysayers, this is the largest one-day death toll in this pandemic thus far, and that includes Wuhan. There's a very busy thread about this on a musician's forum I post at, with continual posts minimizing the issue. It's pretty frustrating to see the lack of biology education on display.
Pooh-poohing this is not warranted. Stay home if possible, maintain good distance if you must go out. Don't panic. Don't whistle past the graveyard, either. Be mindful of who and how you contact people.
