I asked the folks at Walmart where their anti-viral Pop Tarts were.

I read an article the other day about why washing with soap was more effective against viruses than sanitizers. In really simple terms the soap breaks down the fatty acids that bid the RNA chain of the virus better than a sanitizer like alcohol. My takeaway from that was if you get sick  put some Dawn dish soap in your vaporizer.

yep.  Hand sanitizers are really only useful for times when soap is unavailable.  Say, when you head to the store and want to wipe down the cart handle, and again before you get back in your car.  People shouldn't be using them in lieu of soap, but in addition to.
