Coronavirus spreads. But don't panic! (topical thread)

Someone in Lake Oswego school district has the corona virus which is the school district right next to the school district my husband works in.  It's about 12 miles from where I live.  I'm still not running around in a panic.

Good.  no one is saying you should be.

 Tomorrow I have to go over to Lake Oswego to pick up some fabric.   I'm not wearing a mask, I'm not taking precautions.

I'm unsure what the point here is.  Do you want applause?  I'm glad you aren't in the high risk groups.
Hopefully, you're lack of precautions won't put someone who IS at high risk in danger.  I mean, I hope you'll at least wash your hands.  Masks are useless anyway.

My mom is 76, has COPD and has had 3 strokes.  If she gets this, I have no doubt she won't make it, so I can't afford to be careless. 
Fortunately my dad is in very good health for his age, so he's going to help out.
