I never object to policemen who act in accordance with their duty.  And cheers to the locksmith!

Sure, but some folks never notice when the damned cops aren't out of control.

Understood.  When people act properly in their jobs, we seldom mention it.

That's because that is what they are SUPPOSSED to do.  It's when they DON'T that we have to notice and speak up.

And a proportional response would be nice once in a while.
