Quote:Former Louisville Officer Is Indicted in Breonna Taylor Case
Protesters and celebrities demanded justice after Ms. Taylor was killed by police officers in her Louisville apartment.
We'll see if "justice" is done. It will be a rare thing if it is.
The indictment is for endangering a neighbor. Like Taylor is chopped liver or something? She seemed like she was in deadly danger that night; the mortuary bears that out.
Even if this officer is convicted of wonton endangerment for his bullets entering a neighboring apartment, that is not justice for Ms Taylor's family. Her danger was fatal, and will go unpunished.
It's a slap in the face, pure and simple.
On hiatus.
