And if you need to disable a potentially armed killer, you go for centre mass (chest), and
make sure. If the cops shoot anywhere other than centre body mass, they may endanger
themselves and others—and they shoot until the threat is stopped.  Simple.

Then if your target is "disable" (AKA kill him without giving the chance of do anything) you go if is visible for the head, as Israelis and others follow

HAving aid that, OK taser did not work out for whatever reason but as I said in another post, looking at the video there were 2 cops at 0,5 mt distance when he opened the car door and reached inside the car. At any self defence course they teach you one of the 2 cops could have smashed the car door on him while the other fire 2 rounds at the legs, more 3-4 meters back and if she turned with a knife but he could not walk it was a sitting dick for being subdued with baton & pepper spray
If he turned around with a gun then they could finish to shoot him.
Here i see that some part of the society is trying to trivialize hs death as "who cares, if he was caught and ended up in jail in 3 years from now he would have done the same again until finally a policeman put him out of his misery for his lowlevel life" and it maybe true that he could have done the crime again, but at stake it is that today they doto the blacks and one day they could do to whoever other class of citizens
