What if police vehicles were equipped with tear-gas dispensers of one sort or another? That could perhaps clear a crowd around the vehicle and prevent the bullshit we see in the video.
Pretty much what I had in mind. If the cops are as threatened as some people say they are, why are they sent out to fend for themselves against hordes of cophating mobs without any means to disperse a crowd? Don't they carry pepper spray grenades - or something to that effect - these days?
