You're making assumptions while admitting you don't know how often it goes on.

This isn't an assumption. All US cops are under the same system. They all live in the same culture and sub-culture, all receive fairly comparable training, all have comparable equipment and all follow the same politics and policies. How they react to this environment varies, but how individual cops react to their cultural and physical environment, training and indoctrination is a red herring when what is prostested and critiqued is the cultural and physical environment, training and indoctrination of all police officers.

The prevalency of the occurrence (cops knowing of cop crime and saying/doing nothing) is undemonstrated.  "many many many" is not a statistic.  There is a tipping point when an occurrence of an activity becomes so generalized and common and pervasive that we can say with confidence "it's systematic."  Maybe that is the case here, but using the language of absolutism, 100%, All cops are bad, seems not only untrue but counterproductive in persuasion seeking reform.
