The Damned Cops Are Out Of Control

Interesting.  Seems a bit of semantic trickery.  So it can accurately mean "Relating to a system, no matter how small or rare or infrequent."  While of course we surely mean it by its synonyms: fundamental, integral, intrinsic, essential.  What percent of cops have to be involved in this particular bad behavior before it is fundamental, integral etc etc.

At any rate this seems an impossible question to answer (how many cops know of cop crimes and do nothing) so it seems unfair to hand wave and say all cops are bad.

No it means it doesn't matter how many cops are bad that is the irrelevant part.  The fact that the system (as it works now) not only protects bad cops who do bad things but actively punishes cops who try to get those bad cops to stop doing bad things is why we need to abolish the police, by which I mean we disband the department and then have everyone reapply for their jobs with a heavy vetting process from 0 and then Defund the police, by which I mean cut the funding the department gets from as high as 80% of the overall budget and give those fund to welfare workers who can do a better job at the majority of things that the Police are now called to do.

But if you don't know how many cops are involved in this "system (as it works now)" and you just say it doesn't matter how many cops are actually involved in it then you may be assuming a higher prevalence than actually is going on.  Your prescription may be great for those pd's where we know this abuse is pervasive rather than the blanket "all cops are bad" because allegedly they all are in on it.  It will be interesting watching some of these reforms enacted, I have a feeling radical (and I mean that in a good way) plans are going to get watered down to minor cosmetic reforms here and there.

ALL OF THEM.  All of the cops are in the system.  How is this hard for you Jerry?
