"Say! Have you heard? Bob's here!"
Mountain-high though the difficulties appear, terrible and gloomy though all things seem, they are but Mâyâ.
Fear not — it is banished. Crush it, and it vanishes. Stamp upon it, and it dies.

Anyhoo... nightmares as a kid due to the fear of hell?... I've heard of grown adults with that fear of hell, upon contemplating the plausibility of life without belief in a god... so... you turned out alright, it seems.
What would you say to those still with such a fear?

Very blunt intro, but we need more of that. Welcome. Hoping you find a community here. Hopefully we can curb the suffering.

Only if you promise to read the spoiler tag at the end.

I had a nightmare that Bob The Butt-Ugly Builder grabbed me by the face and then started humping my elbows. Aggravated

I grabbed his builder's hammer and smacked him in one of his nipples with it. He fell to the floor and then explosive shit splattered out of his builder's pants.

He cried and ran away.

Then the next morning (this is still in the dream ... I woke up in the dream the morning after) ... me and my future children turned on the TV and it was announced that the actor who plays the new Bob the Builder had strapped himself to a rocket and fired himself into the sun.

Then I woke up in a sweat.
