Xbox Adaptive Controller

Xbox Adaptive Controller
I read about it a few months ago.  It's really quite an amazing piece of adaptive tech.  It's not only a customizable controller with inputs suited/designed for people with limited mobility, it also serves as a hub for the existing disparate devices already on the market.  What surprises me is not just the amount of effort, and more importantly, consideration, Microsoft has put into it, but that they're actually advertising it.  On TV.  On major networks:

While I'm fortunate enough to have the hand control/strength/dexterity to use a standard controller, I'm well aware that many of my physically disabled brothers and sisters cannot.  This device is the first concerted effort by a major manufacturer to address a usability gap that's been largely ignored for decades.  It's also reasonably priced ($99.99 is really solid in this space).  The entire thing is, frankly, unprecedented.

The official site for the controller, showing what it is, how it works, etc: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/acce...controller
A Kotaku UK article which interviews several disabled gamers regarding how useful it is, what impact it's had, etc: http://www.kotaku.co.uk/2018/11/30/two-m...controller

Good for Microsoft doing good.
