I'm a real freak about the movie Lost In Translation, which that song was on the soundtrack for. I'm kind of going through that soundtrack tonight and picking my four favorite bands from it, and starting to make a playlist of their songs not on that soundtrack, but that I like, and putting it on Spotify.

A couple of months ago when I spent a few days out at my sister's, we got into a discussion about songs for our memorials. This is one that I definitely want to help sum up my life. Listening to it again, I love the lyrics, and that Tele jangle on the guitar is just sweet:
And on an entirely unrelated note, listening to this now. No pretensions to anything deeper than just being a great rock'n'roll song: I can feel the goddamned energy.
