I literally stop and smell the roses in gardens along the way where some rose bush might be next the the sidewalk. (I don't go into their gardens.) I found a youtube video of a candle burning and sat and watched it for 10 mintues or so. It's very relaxing. I think it goes back to our caveman ancestors who told stories around the campfire. There's also fireplace videos and other quiet things to watch on youtube that quiet the brain, but I wasn't taking Tai Chi for medatative purposes, I was wanting to move around much more than she's having us do and the woo-hoo crap is so irritating.
