If you had a theme song, what would it be? I know this topic comes up again and again, but it's still fun.
Here's mine. Or one of them, anyway. (Maybe my show had multiple seasons with multiple theme songs, no? It could happen. I dread to think of being canceled!)
Mountain-high though the difficulties appear, terrible and gloomy though all things seem, they are but Mâyâ.
Fear not — it is banished. Crush it, and it vanishes. Stamp upon it, and it dies.

"The End" is an epic song by US rock band the Doors. Lead singer Jim Morrison initially wrote the lyrics
about his break up with his first love Mary Werbelow, but it evolved through months of performances at
the West Hollywood Whisky a Go Go into a much longer song. The Doors recorded a nearly 12-minute
version for their self-titled debut album, which was released on January 1967.
"The End" was recorded live in the studio with no overdubbing. Two takes were recorded, with reportedly
the second being used for the album. It was the last song the original group performed at their last
concert in December 1970, at The Warehouse in New Orleans.

I'm not quite that profligate, but I similarly have more than one. So what would your theme song be today?

Same. Today I'm going with 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton.

The William Tell Overture would be the theme song for my ADHD brain.
And it would start the moment I open my eyes each morning. :-)

Or pretty much anything else by NIN.
If my life had a soundtrack, it would be NIN.

The first movement of William Tell is a slow adagio. My day starts off like that.
But I think this would be my song.

If you had a theme song, what would it be?
No. Contest. At. All. "Book of Days" by Enya.
One day, one night, one moment,
My dreams could be, tomorrow.
One step, one fall, one falter,
East or west, over earth or by ocean.
One way to be my journey,
This way could be my Book of Days.
Ó lá go lá, mo thuras,
An bealach fada romham.
Ó oíche go hoíche, mo thuras,
Na scéalta nach mbeidh a choích.
No day, no night, no moment,
Can hold me back from trying.
I'll flag, I'll fall, I'll falter,
I'll find my day may be, Far and Away.
Far and Away.
One day, one night, one moment,
With a dream to believe in.
One step, one fall, one falter,
And a new earth across a wide ocean.
This way became my journey,
This day ends together, Far and Away.
This day ends together, Far and Away.
Far and Away.

Wow, I got to thinking what a different person I would have to be for that to be my theme song. :-)

Mine would be Schiller's lyrics to the last movement of Beethoven's last symphony.

Rolled down the windows, turned up the volume. People in cars on either side of me were mock conducting as we drove down the street.
