Around here we have been using the little ice maker extensively. It works well enough. Since our local stores do not seem to be able to reliably get distilled water, we get water delivered now. But the hidden gotcha has hit. The electric bill. Running an ice maker all the time to keep up with demand in a hot climate,is not cheap. Still, all of this is worth it to have ice all the time, and not have to get ice at the local convenience store with all the maskless morons infesting the store.
