Doing a charity thing
[sorry if this isn't allowed, please feel free to remove otherwise]

Hi,

This coming Sunday, [26th April 2020], a mini charity event is being held – The 2.6 Challenge! This is something that is being done to assist UK charities while most fund raising events are now either postponed or cancelled. The group ask if you can do anything to assist – do 26 press ups/do a 26 minute home work out/hula hoop 26 times/Hold a plank for 2.6 minutes etc, all to raise money for the various charities involved. In my case I’ll be road running 2.6 miles, and the money will be donated to CALM, [The Campaign Against living Miserably], which is a men’s mental health charity. If anybody else wishes to get involved and raise money also, let me know and I can create a team to link up via Just Giving.

It’s not mandatory or anything like that, if anything please share onto any social media you may have, as I am only on Instagram these days haha.

Doing a charity thing
Brief update:

The run was yesterday, 26th, and I managed to run 3.4 miles. Not as far as I'd liked but i'm a bit out of practise with the whole lockdown thing haha. It was still more than that 2.6 needed anyway Smile

Managed to raise £135, which is very cool Smile

I posted a post run pic in the picture thread, but will add it here as well Smile

You don't look like you put on an extra 215 pounds.
