Five word at a time story
Okay let's go with...horror.  Play it straight, save the humor for elsewhere.  So it doesn't get off track too quickly, let's say our imaginary beginning involves three people in a car on a normal night going...somewhere.

(well what i had in mind was the skin on his fingers sloughing off, so that he couldn't get a grip, subliminal image of a giant snake shedding its skin through him, and then they all run off the road as his fingers molt into something lovecraftian. followed by more of him, but with his horrified brain lagging behind).  but I only had five words so I made do.
